Sheshe Baharini is a mid-sized boutique hotel situated on tiwi beach on the South Coast area of Mombasa, Kenya. Hidden away on this prestigious and idyllic beach away from the crowds of Diani, our guests are treated to miles of beautiful unspoilt beach providing privacy and no disturbances from beach boys or hoards of other tourists. The hotel comprises of 30 rooms in a relaxed friendly atmosphere providing ultimate relaxation with 5 star services.

In keeping with the design of the original “Castle”, the decor features elements of Moorish, Portuguese and African design reflecting the rich and unique history of the Kenyan coast.

Guests dine in our open plan main restaurant, which overlooks the palm fringed beach that expands into
miles of blue ocean and white surf.

Our beach front restaurant offers deliciousal fresco dinners where freshly caught lobsters, crabs, calamari and other sea food is served to just you and your guests on the sandy beach under the star studded sky.

A variety of cocktails, chilled beers and other drinks are also served from the pool bar by the crystal clear swimming pool while you relax on the sun beds under the pergolas.

The “dhow” beach bar is open throughout the day and serves tantalizing sun downers as you sit on the beach and watch the African sun set over the Indian Ocean.

The Ziza pub: Guests are invited to kick back, relax and enjoy a refreshing respite with magnificent views of the ocean.

All our food at Sheshe is prepared in-house by our skilled chefs using the freshest ingredients, always locally sourced where possible. You will often see local fishermen bringing their daily catches to the kitchen doorin the morning for you to enjoy at dinner.

There are few experiences more romantic than sitting in the open restaurant watching the moon rise out of the sea and listening to the breeze whispering through the palm trees as you indulge in fine wine and delicious, freshly caught seafood.
